embryotoxon which is a 
developmental anomaly where 
Schwalbe’s ring (collagenous 
tissue between the end of 
Descemet’s membrane and the 
trabecular meshwork) extends 
further into the cornea than 
normal and is visible with the 
biomicroscope.
